The Man with a Vision

Lai Labode: is the CEO of Salt & Einstein Ltd, a visionary business logic expert with vast experience of the peculiar African emerging markets. Lai’s ideas and initiations have been most valuable to businesses in Nigeria and beyond; a mobile money expert, he is the initiator of MoneyBoxAfrica; Mobile Lottery Limited, Holiday Peoples Forum and the Electronic Thrift System. Lai is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School, holding an executive degree in corporate restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, with a first degree in accounting, Law and currently studying for an MBA from the University of Liverpool; He is a member of the National Think Tank committee on youth development.

Lai Labode’s core ideology rests firmly in the belief that enduring prosperity for any nation is only guaranteed by a ‘holy matrimony’ between visionary leadership and responsible/vigilant followership.

Lai Labode’s passion for a better Nigeria dates back to his days at the University of Abuja where he founded various advocacy groups that conceptualized different schemes and strategies for furthering the frontiers of sound democratic values amongst Nigerian students and spoke at various forums on democracy and good governance. In the pursuit of his dream of a better Nigeria and armed with a very healthy philosophy for a modern and New Nigeria, Lai Labode has been a man of no mean influence. He has worked tirelessly to build a reputation as youth champion for democracy. To this end, Lai Labode recently founded the 3LC organization with a mission to redirect the trend of leadership in Nigeria by getting the democratic methodology into our primary, secondary, tertiary institutions and the Nation at large.

Lai has authored the following books: 3LC Civic Education Handbook, 25 Laws of Democracy (translated into 30 Nigerian languages, French, Swahili, and Afrikaans).

He is also a co-founder and Public Secretary for MEN (Movement for the Emancipation of Nigeria), the founder of Coalition for Plural Democracy, and the National coordinator, South-West PDP Youth Development Front (YDF).

He is happily married with kids.
